Dr. Soheil Simzar is a highly experienced dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon who provides comprehensive in-house Mohs surgery services to private practices and healthcare organizations throughout Southern California. With more than 210,000 patient encounters and over 33,000 dermatologic surgeries performed, Dr. Simzar brings an exceptional depth of real-world clinical and surgical experience to the diagnosis and treatment of complex dermatologic conditions and skin cancer.
Dr. Simzar completed his undergraduate education, medical degree, dermatology residency, and advanced surgical training at UCLA. He served as Chief Resident and has presented at national conferences and published in respected medical journals. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in medical dermatology, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, Mohs surgery, complex surgical reconstruction, and the evaluation and management of scars and other dermatologic injuries.
In addition to his clinical and surgical practice, Dr. Simzar is available for select complex medical case reviews and consultations involving dermatology and dermatologic surgery. His extensive clinical experience provides a strong foundation for objective, evidence-based assessment of complex dermatologic conditions, injuries, treatment, and surgical outcomes.
